Personal Care For The Elderly The first step in the process of putting together a care plan for a client is to assess what level of care is required in order to determine whether we can facilitate the individual needs of that person. This assessment is conducted by a member of staff who will arrange to visit the potential client in their home. A simple risk assessment will be also be conducted to identify any possible problems which may need rectifying. With the visit undertaken a care plan can be developed and a personal carer is then assigned to the client, provided full consent is given. To read a list of some of the areas that we can assist you as part of the Personal Care For The Elderly service, please click on the Personal Care button at the top of the page.
Domestic Help Another way in which we care for the elderly at their home is by taking the worry and physical stress out of the daily chores. The service covers not only the obvious jobs such as dish washing, cleaning and helping with meals, but it can also be adapted around the clients' needs to include decorating, gardening, and replacement of white goods. For more details take a look at the Domestic Help section of the site.
Companionship At Twelve Trees we understand that care for the elderly doesn't begin and end with the chores. One of the most important services we offer clients is that of companionship. We organise outings and visits for our clients to go shopping, to various places of interest, or even just to visit friends. For full details have a look at the 'Companionship' page.
